Executive Administrator Franklin County Bar Association Inc. (FCBA)
Franklin County Bar Association seeks a part-time Executive Administrator. The Executive Administrator is responsible for the operations, affairs, and resources of the Franklin County Bar Association Inc. Duties include membership services, administration of a Massachusetts Bar Foundation funded grant that serves low-income elders, children, and survivors of domestic violence in Franklin County, development of an internship program, and administrative support to the non-profit Franklin County Bar Association Community Fund.
This is a part time position, 15 hours a week with a compensation of $18-$20 an hour with no benefits. Remote work is negotiable.
The Executive Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the officers and the boards of the FCBA are kept fully informed of the conditions and operations. The Executive Administrator maintains positive relations with other legal-related entities, bar associations, courts, government agencies, and vendors to promote the best interests of the FCBA. The Executive Administrator formulates and recommends policies and programs including financial and budgeting programs consistent with sound fiscal management and the associations’ missions. The position will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and oversight of an internship program. Other duties include accounting, member and client services, grant administration, committee planning, event planning, and fundraising.
- Experience with a professional or nonprofit organization or comparable experience
- Established record of administrative, and financial oversight.
- Practical knowledge of program management, marketing, public relations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills
- Computer skills- Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, QuickBooks
- Must be available for occasional evening work.
